Dermatique Review

As you may already know, Emily has quite bad eczema. It has flared up on her back quite a lot, its really patchy and irritates her a lot. She also has it in other places but I would say her back is the worst. We have recently been trying out the Dermatique recuperating cream, which I have to say actually seems to be working and soothing her skin.

About Dermatique
Dermatique was born out of a mother and father's quest to help their baby lead a more comfortable life, free of the symptoms of eczema. Dermatique takes a serious approach to skin care that isn't utilised by any other brand on the market. By combining that latest scientific research with the best raw minerals and plant extracts nature has to offer, our products moisturise, nourish and protect skin. Dermatique keep harsh ingredients out of they're products, and balance them so that they can benefit people of all ages from babies to men and women in there golden years.

About the Recuperating cream
The Recuperating cream comes in a 100ml tub. Its made to soothe irritation and give parched tissues a much needed drink of moisture. The Recuperating cream promotes healing in the gentlest of ways, it is completely free of steroids and devoid of artificial fragrances that can inflame sensitive skin. The formula helps to calm the symptoms of eczema, psoriasis and other chronic conditions. With the hydrating ingredients the cream provides immediate relief from itching and becomes rapidly absorbed, so skin feels soothed and softened but never greasy.

What do we think?
I absolutely love this cream, Emily has been using the cream for about 2 weeks now, and the redness has gone. Emily no longer fusses or try's to itch her skin. The cream is non-sticky, it is easy to apply and it isn't greasy. It seems to hydrate the skin perfectly, It leaves Emily's skin feeling so soft I'm amazed at just how well it seems to have worked. I honestly can't praise this cream enough, the other really good thing is you only have to use a tiny bit of cream when you are applying it. One tub actually goes a long way. Emily has stopped constantly itching and pulling at her skin which is a good sign that it is working. I like that it hasn't got a fragrance. Some creams can be over powering so it is refreshing to find a cream that doesn't have a scent.

The other thing I really like is the packaging, I'm not a fan of cream in a tube. I feel like so much gets wasted and your forever trying to squeeze it to get the last bit out. The fact it comes in a tub completely prevents this and means you can use every last bit of the cream. While this cream is at the higher end of the market at £29.00 for a 100ml tub, I personally would pay that because of how much it has helped Emily's Skin. I would definitely recommend this cream to friends and family. It has worked wonders for Emily.

*I wasn't paid for this post. I received the item for the review purposes. However all opinions are completely my own.*
