Letters To Santa

With it being so close to December, the only thing that is on Emily's mind is what she would like from Santa, she also informed me that her friends have been telling her what is on their list, and she must write her letter so that she won't get forgotten - as if that would ever happen. I decided that we would use the Royal Mail Santa post this year, and I know that it gets extremely busy, and the deadline is December 7th.

If you're interested in writing a letter to Santa, make sure you include your name and address in the letter you send and address it to 'Santa or Father Christmas, Santa's Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5GQ' and don't forget to attach a stamp.

Emily has been practising writing letters and words. She has mastered mummy, daddy, and Emily so far and is really determained to learn anything that she can. She told me what she wanted to include in her letter, and I wrote it out for her to copy onto another piece of paper. She wrote half of the letter and I ended up writing the last little bit for her as she couldn't quite manage the last of it. I was really impressed with how much that she wrote considering shes only just turned four I think she is doing brilliantly.

I helped Isabelle write her list too this year, although she wasn't able to tell me what she wanted, so I picked a few things that I know she will love, and when I asked what toy she would like she said 'Moana'. So I'm guessing that is going to end up being her main gift, as Moana is a little bit on the pricey side, but in fairness, Isabelle is a little obsessed with Moana, and has been for as long as I can remember.

While we were walking to preschool, Emily actually asked me to bring the letters when I picked her up as she wanted to put them into the post box before we went back home, which I happily did. She loved sticking the stamps on the letters and posting them in the post box. She is really excited to see if Santa has time to reply. It's safe to say both the girls are really excited for Christmas.
