Milk Monster [Review & Giveaway]

We were recently given the opportunity to review a Milk Monster timer, which I honestly couldn't wait to test out. I'm always forgetting how long Isabelle's milk has been out for, and rather than risking it I end up throwing it away - which is such a waste if I'm honest.

As you may know, if you are a regular reader, Isabelle has a cows milk protein allergy and is on a prescription formula, so I really don't want to waste her milk. We tend to prepare four bottles at a time, and then heat one up in the bottle warmer as and when it's needed. We chose to do it this way because unless Isabelle's milk is made with boiling hot water, the powder won't dissolve, so it works out easier to prepare a batch and then store them. The only downside to doing this is keeping track of how long each bottle has been in the fridge (recommended maximum amount of time is 24 hours) and how long it has been out for the feed (recommended maximum of 1 hour).

Milk monster is really simple to use, it is a little timer which attaches to your baby's milk bottle. You are then able to set the timer to the time you require and it counts down in minutes how long you have left to use the milk before it needs discarding.

There are four different Milk Monster characters, which have been designed in vibrant colours. The monster characters were named and voted by the milk monster facebook community; Piim, Tej, SuSu and Meiko (milk in four different languages). The Milk Monster is designed to make parents life easier and is really simple to use. There are just three buttons, so you can't go wrong! The outer case is dishwasher safe, and the entire unit is splash proof. The feature I love the most is the fact that the monster is glow in the dark, which is so handy when you're half asleep and trying to find it for night feeds.

Luckily for my readers, the lovely people at Milk Monster have given you the opportunity to win one of these little monsters yourself. Simply enter below for your chance to win!
