39 Weeks Pregnant [Baby Number Two]

Due date
June, 28th

Mood
I think when you get to a certain point in pregnancy you just get fed up, or is that just me? I had a midwife appointment this week which went as well as could be, I spoke to her about my depression, anxiety and worries which helped to resolve things in my mind a little bit. We also booked another appointment in case I go overdue (I think I will - I did with Emily, and I just think I have stubborn babies).

Symptoms
Unfortunately, I'm still being sick, I feel so tired all the time at the moment and have this horrible dull backache that won't go. I also have quite bad stomach pains which can apparently be signs of the start of labour, although I have never heard that before.

Sleep

Sleep is still non-existent. It has got a little better since the heat died down, It's so much easier to fall asleep now that it isn't hot at night. My pregnancy pillow is still helping massively but not as much as it was previously which is a shame. I think my bump has just got too big now making it impossible to get comfortable.

Movement

Little Pickle gave us another worrying spot, we ended up at the hospital again to get checked out for reduced movements, She started to kick as soon as we got there - so I guess she just likes to keep us on our toes.

Food cravings
Strawberries, and ice lollies. Emily and I made a couple of strawberry crumbles this week, which was delicious - we have plans to go strawberry picking very soon and I can't wait! Emily is going to absolutely be in her element.

Gender
Girl!

Highlight of the week
Playing Doctors with Emily - There is a blog post about it coming later this week.

Looking forward to

Meeting our baby girl - if she ever makes an appearance.

Baby Development

39 Weeks: Meconium, a greenish-black substance made of the waste material, is accumulating in your baby's intestines and will form her first bowel movement.
