Yankee’s Candle Harvest Time Collection

It’s finally autumn, one of the best times of the year in my opinion. The brown leaves are falling from the trees and are crisp when you walk. There is a chill in the air, and the dark nights are drawing in. It is the perfect time to get cosy under blankets, with hot chocolate and watch some good films. There is nothing better at this time of the year than candles, they add that warm and cosy moments. Yankee candle have recently released they’re festive time candles. These are inspired by all of the comforting treats that autumn has to offer, form delicious warming puddings to woody forest notes, this collection of candles is not to be missed.

Rhubarb crumble is a scent that really reminds me of autumn. I love nothing more than making rhubarb crumble and apple crumble in the colder weather. This candle smells like it has come straight from the oven, with warm flavours of tangy rhubarb with brown sugar and vanilla. This food and spice scent is enough to make anyone hungry. Another sweet scent is honey clementine; this orange coloured candle has a refreshing orange which takes a sweet turn in the honey-dipped citrus delight. It smells lovely burning in the kitchen.

If sweet scents are not your thing there are two fresh fragrances in the range. Ebony and Oak, isn’t the normal scent I would go for as it is really fresh, but it smells amazing. With woody oak, pine and ebony this elegant forest fragrance has subtle touches of eucalyptus and patchouli. The last candle is Autumn nights; this one is my favourite. It is a fresh scent and smells like an autumn evening, with brisk earthiness and dreamy interludes of lavender and woodland notes.

I love that the Yankee candles come in the signature classic jar, the candle reflects a warm, relaxed sense of style that’s always at home. They are easy to use, and having a lid to store the candle, keeps them smelling fresh. The small jars (like I have) provide 25 to 40 hours of true fragrance enjoyment. The small jars are £8.99 each and are available at Yankee candle.

What is your favourite scent?

 - I was sent the products for the purpose of the review, however all opinions are my own.

  1. Oh, I LOVE Yankee Candles! Love the sound of the rhubarb crumble one - sounds gorgeous. My favourite Yankee Candles are my Christmas ones, I have three large ones that come out every year, they have lasted so well, despite constant use. They always make me feel so festive. x

  3. I had that autumn night one in my hand the other day and swapped it for a different one, I am thinking I may have to go back and buy that one as well! Wonder if hubby would notice (I have just counted and I have 7 already so surely he wouldn't notice another one??!)

  9. I love the Christmas collecting to be honest. I got them last year. That's the only time of the year I light a candle.
