Emily has a new found obsession with Bing, I feel like she is a little late to the party on this one. I remember when Bing first started appearing on Cbeebies, and she was not interested in the slightest. Now she asks for him constantly and adores the fact he is a bunny – I’m not sure if this is because her favourite animal and toy is a bunny, but none the less she loves him. When I was asked to review the Fisher Price Bedtime Bing and Owly Nightlight, of course I said yes. It sounded like a product Emily would adore.
The bedtime Bing is a great night-time friend for little bingsters like Emily. He is super soft, and the perfect size for a toddler to cuddle up to. Bing is dressed in his blue hoppity voosh pyjamas, ready for a bedtime story just like in the show. While Emily can cuddle up with Bing and snuggle up under the blankets, Owly can play soothing music, as coloured lights slowly fade in and out, producing a relaxing bedtime environment.
The nightlight is just like in the show and the music is really pleasant to listen too. It is easy to operate for young children and the light gives just the right amount for bedtime. Emily loved that she could turn Owly on herself, you simply press down on Owly’s head to activate the adorable owl. A simple switch allows you to choose from three modes — Lights and Sounds, Lights only, or Sounds only. The nightlight also features a 15-minute automatic shut-off which I find really useful.
Fisher-price Bing toys are designed with your little bingster in mind. With fun features and lovely little details, they are perfect for playing out favourite television moments and inspiring amazing, new adventures.
Overall I am really impressed with this item, Emily adores her toy, and takes him to bed with her. I like that the toy is specifically designed for bedtime. Emily used to be a little monkey to get to bed, and it is products like this that really help. As parents we all need some bribery sometimes.
Bedtime… it’s a Bing thing.
- I was sent the bedtime bing for the purpose of the review, however all opinions are my own.
