Making Mocktails With a Toddler

Last week, my bestie Toni came round and we made some mocktails, you can view that post here. I decided to make some more with Emily, and she absolutely loved it, her favourite part of the whole process was adding the ice cubes to the cup. This is definately something I will be making again in the future. I thought I would share the recipes with you, as I had a great deal of trouble finding some alcohol free recipes online. I ended up making up our own based on the alcohol versions.

Cinderella
Ingredients½ cup of Orange Juice½ cup of Pineapple Juice
3 Lime wedges
1 Lemon
Crushed Ice
How to make the mocktail
First of all squeeze the lemon, and lime juice into cup. Fill the cup up with ice, and then add the Orange and pineapple juice. Mix together and then serve.

Sex on the beach
Ingredients½ cup of Cranberry juice
½ cup of Orange juice
¼ cup of Peach and Orange water
Lemonade
1 Tablespoon of Grenadne
Crushed Ice
How to make the mocktail
Fill the glass up ½ way with crushed ice, add the fruit juices and then top with Lemonade. Then add some Grenadine.
(p.s this was Emily's favourite mocktail, it is a little sweet though)

Woo Woo
Ingredients
½ cup of cranberry juice
¼ cup of Peach nectar
Lemonade
Crushed ice
How to make the mocktail
Fill the glass half way with crushed ice. Add in the cranberry juice, peach nectar and then top it up with lemonade.

Let me know if you decide to make any of these mocktails, and what you think of them, they are perfect for a girls night in, family BBQ or a party.

  4. They look tasty and your little one looks pleased with them! I craved a margarita through my whole pregnancy, and managed to finally get a barman to make something which while didn't taste the same as a margarita, did satisfy the same thing (lime & salt I think!)
