A Picnic At Bedford Park

Last Friday I arranged to meet up with one of my lovely blogger friends, Steph and her little girl Isla. We packed up a picnic, grabbed the scuttlebug, and headed off to meet them. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and I have to admit even though I was a little bit nervous about meeting Steph, we got on really well. The girls got on really well too. Emily was constantly trying to take care of Isla,  and she even shared all of her snacks.

I have lived in Bedford for pretty much all my life, but I can't actually remember the last time I went to Bedford park. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how well looked after the park is. The parks original bandstand is still in use, and there are some beautiful flowers planted around the park. The park itself seems like the perfect place to take your children, as there is so much space to run around. There was also two massive play parks, one of which is full of sand. Whats not to love with sand, it gets absolutely everywhere, toddlers love it - well mine did until she fell face first into the sand.

Ella's kitchen kindly send Emily some snacks to try out, and our little picnic seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. Both Emily and Isla really enjoyed the raspberry and peach rings, Emily was happy to share them with Isla and between them they got through the whole pack. Emily also managed to open the raisin and oat cookies, and they were her absolute favourite. I love that the cookies come in a resealable packet, meaning they are perfect to give as a little treat, or keep in my bag while we are out. I don't have to worry about carrying a clip or them going stale.

I thought I would share some pictures of our day with you, although I may have took a few to many.

- I was sent this product for the purpose of the review, however all opinions are my own.

  1. Ah looks lovely there. We aren't far from the Beds border but I don't think I've ever been to Bedford. I'm rubbish at going further than my own front door though haha!
