Easter Crafts

As part of the Baker Ross blogger network we get sent some craft activity bits now and then. I was happy to see a Easter themed box turn up, especially when both me and Emily have been feeling so poorly, it was a nice thing to cheer her up. We were sent a whole range of goodies but since we have been poorly we have only had the change to do a few, so I thought I would share those with you.

While Emily absolutely loves doing crafts her daddy isn't so keen. He always lets me do the craft activities but this time around he was able to join in which I love. We were sent the Easter basket buddy kit, and the brilliant thing about it was everything you needed for the activity was already there. This made it incredibly easy for Sam, as he didn't need to go in search for anything. It was so lovely to see them doing the craft together, and Emily absolutely loved having her daddy help out. Inside the pack there is 3 foam buckets, and it contains 3 little packets (one for each bucket) with all of the stickers and things you would need to recreate the Easter characters. Sam was impressed with the kit, as was Emily.

The next activity we did was these Easter honeycomb decorations. I liked this type of activity because I can let Emily get on with it and it is more of a independent activity. She really enjoyed this activity, the only downside for me is I had to get out felt tips, because the type of card/paper wasn't brilliant for pencil crayons. These look fab once the honeycomb is pulled out, and they make the perfect little decoration, Emily currently has hers hanging on her teepee.
