Organix is celebrating national breakfast week (24th-30th January) to help inspire parents to get a great start to the day. When we heard about this of course we wanted to get involved, Emily is a big fan of Organix porridge and always starts her morning with that or fruit pots. Research shows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so of course we want to start the day of right.

Organix have a range of tasty cereals for babies and toddlers. They have developed a range of seven baby cereals with a variety of textures and tastes to help your baby explore food at their own pace and help them to develop new skills. And of course they all come with the Organix No junk promise.

Emily currently has the 'growing up, 10+ months (stage 3) muesli with chunky oats and pieces. She still really enjoys her porridge, but the muesli has become a firm favourite, we were currently sent the Raspberry and Banana muesli by Organix which is fab as we have only been able to purchase the Banana, Peach and Apple flavor.  I have also been having a little look on the Organix website and they have some great recipes for breakfast, such as French toast and Fruity eggy bread. I think tomorrow we will be giving the Banana pancakes a go.

Ingredients
2 eggs
1 ripe banana
coconut oil or vegetable oil for frying

How to make them?
Blend together the eggs, and peeled banana in a food processor until smooth.
Heat a drop of oil in a small frying pan over a medium heat.
Add a ladle of batter to form a small pancake approx 6cm across. Allow it to cook for about 2-3 minutes; bubbles will form on the top, flip it over and cook the other side.

To serve I would add a little natural yogurt and some fruit ontop. Emily doesn't always eat the fruit pieces but I like to offer her it encase.

*I was sent a couple of boxes of porridge and muesli for the purpose of the review, however all opinions are my own*
