As you may have guessed by now, Me and my little bookworm seem to be growing a little library. We recenetly got given the opportunity to review 'Lolly in sweetie land' by Susie Davids and we jumped at the chance. It sounded like the perfect girly book that Emily would love, and I wasn't disappointed.
This beautifully written rhyme filled book kept Emily's attention from cover to cover. It tells the story of a little girl called Lolly who loves all things sweet. One day, Lolly gets whisked away by a fairy on a magical journey through sweetie land. She discovers some amazing sights on her delicious adventures. This book has a really important message too, the importance of brushing your teeth, something which can be quite difficult to explain to children.
For me this has to be one of my favourite books, I love the beautiful illustrations, and also that it has bigger font than most books, making it easy for my grandmother to read to Emily as she struggles with her eyesight. I would definitely recommend this beautiful book.
*I was sent this to review, however all opinions are my own*
