We were recently offered the opportunity to review Oddsockasaurus by Zanib Mian, and illustrated by Bill Bolton, and I jumped at the chance. Emily is becoming a little book worm, she will sit for hours reading her books. She is also really good at listening to them, she will sit and listen intently and love to point at the illustrations in the books. The story is about a six year old little boy, who tells us about the different types of dinosaurs that he can be.
This book has a good feeling vibe to it, It is a great book to encourage children to talk about how they are feeling. Older children would love the opportunity to be able to invent their own dinosaur, and image to show how they are feeling. Using the images in the book as a example it would help them to use their imagination at the same time as expressing how they are feeling. I highly recommend this book, Emily really enjoyed listening to the story and loved the fact they were all dinosaurs.
Emily absolutely loved this book, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. So much so we have ordered one for my niece. Oddsockosaurus is available to buy from Amazon and WHSmith.
*I was sent these products for the purpose of the review, however all opinions are my own*
