Little Wellies & Autumn Walks

Saturday was a absolutely beautiful day. It was a little chilly but the sky was clear, and the sun was out. It was the perfect autumn day. We decided to make the most of the dry weather and headed out for a little walk. We found the perfect little spot, a place called Marston Vale. It isn't too far from us, and it is so peaceful there. Emily loves being outdoors, she is growing more and more confident at walking, and takes great delight in running ahead a little. So it is perfect for her to have somewhere she can run, but is safe away from the traffic. We found the most stunning view of the lake, and we will definitely be returning there again.

This is the first time that Emily got to use her wellies properly, It made me so emotional to see that she has her own little wellies. My little girl is growing up so fast, she really enjoyed kicking the leaves, and stamping her feet. She looked so adorable in her little wellies. There was also a lovely picnic area at Marston Vale, so we packed up some sandwiches to take with us. Little family days like this make me so grateful I have both Emily and Sam.
