What Emily Wore #23

Another week, another diva moment, Emily doesn't like long tops or dresses. I've come to the conclusion after the tantrum today, it is just not worth trying to get her to wear them. Which is a shame as she has about 8-9 pretty long tops in her wardrobe which are just going to go to waste now. Emily used to have issues with long tops and dresses getting caught when she crawled, but now she is walking this isn't a problem. However she still hates them, and try's to pull the top off. This lovely outfit lasted all of 20 minutes, before we ended up with a Minnie mouse top, and leggings. As soon as I opened Emily's wardrobe door she pointed to the Minnie mouse top and repeatedly said 'innie, innie'. She hasn't quite mastered the M sound in her words yet. It is the cutest thing ever. I guess I am going to have a strong minded little girl.

Looking at these pictures, I just can't get over how grown up she looks. My baby is going to be one next weekend. It feels like yesterday I had her.

  1. Happy Birthday for next weekend! I went through a phase of not liking dresses. I'm a bit of a tomboy now but my mummy still tries to get me in a pretty dress! Baby Isabella xx #weekendministyle x

  2. When I envisioned having a girl, I never thought they might not like wearing dresses! But thinking about it, I wasn't a fan either. She looks absolutely gorgeous in this though. #weekendministyle

  4. I'm starting to get the resistance on the wardrobe front and it brings me out in a cold sweat! I am far too OCD to let her wear things that don't match etc. EEK! Bless Emily! At least we'll have strong minded girls I guess. This outfit is super cute thought even though it only lasted 20 mins! The dress is so sweet and I like how it has a little denim section and then a printed bottom. So sweet. The leggings are a lovely colour too! Thank you so much for linking up with us doll and hope you have a great weekend x #weekendministyle

  5. Oh Emily, but you look so adorable in long tops/skirts but I can fully understand how they would be frustrating when you are crawling or toddling about. Perhaps when you are fully mobile you will see how lovely these outfits are?! Thank you for sharing your lovely outfit with us #TT_Thursday

  7. Gorgeous photo. I love her outfit, I really love the littlr bow on her top! Osian's not too bad at the moment, but he's gone through phase's of only wearing certain things. The other week he would only wear a particular pair of socks! Xx
