I always look forward to our Baker Ross parcel, it is always full of different arts and crafts activities which I enjoy just as much as Emily does. With the Rugby world cup starting on the 18th September, of course there was going to be some sort of Rugby themed activity. Baker Ross came up with a some fantastic little fun craft sets which will keep the little ones entertained during the rugby, or even just something to get them interested in sport.
We were sent the Rugby coaster kit, which I did think would be a bit difficult for Emily. Considering she is 1 I think she did really well. I peeled the stickers for her, and she enjoyed picking them up off the floor and sticking them on. Although she equally enjoyed pulling them back off again. Each kit comes with clear instructions, it has almost everything you will need to complete the project, minus a pen. The pack contains 6, which includes a coaster, a set of foam self adhesive stickers. The idea is to follow the shapes that are pre printed on the coaster, in which ever pattern you like. This is brilliant for older children, Emily however just didn't quite get that as she is so young. I thought she did pretty good though.
The end product came out a lot better than I expected. The coasters are really colourful and I love that they are handmade. As you can see I did the blue one, and half the green so you could see what they are supposed to look like. Emily did the red, and the middle of the green coaster, and to be honest I think she did such a fab job! I like that each one looks different. If you want to try this activity, you can buy the coaster kits here. They are £3.96 for a pack of 6 which I think is really good value for money. I do have some more craft posts coming up soon, so keep a eye out for those.
*I wasn't paid for this post. I received the item for the review purposes. However all opinions are completely my own.*
