MAM Bob the Turtle Teether

The popular baby products company MAM have just launched a range of three teethers which are aimed at different ages. The three friends are, Lucy the snail, Max the Frog, and and Bob the turtle. Lucy is suitable from just 2 months, Max 4 months, and Bob 5 months. The teethers are 100% safe for babies and completely BPA free. They are all made from natural latex, the rubber is harvested from hevea trees in Thailand and then taken to a local production site where it is hand crafted into the MAM friends. Each MAM friend is individual and unique in both colour and size. A CSR award for outstanding working conditions has been given to MAM so the products are good for everyone, both babies and manufactures.

Bob the purple turtle has become Emily's new friend. He is a 3D ring shape which makes him easy to hold and pick up. Bob helps to develop co-ordination and motor skills, and he is partly hollow which makes him easy to squeeze and chew on. While the natural rubber is soft and gentle for sore gums it also provides some relief too. The thing Emily has liked the most is the variety of size and shaped bumps on bob, she has loved running her hands over the bumps. Bob is a good size, he is perfect for little hands, but not small enough to get lost at the bottom of your bag. He fits nicely inside my changing bag and we have took him along on our outings, because of the hole in the middle he is easy to pop on the end of some linky's making it easy to attach to the pushchair while we are out and about. The colour is vibrant and unisex, as are all of the MAM friend's teethers. I do wish I knew about these teether when Emily was younger, just because she really dislikes the gel and water ones you pop in the fridge.

I can see Emily playing with this toy for quite a while, she doesn't just use it as a teether, she likes to carry it around, and he is a great toy turtle. It is important to read the instructions and to remember that these teether should not be sterilised or used in a bath. Bob is priced at £9.99 which I find really good value for money. I would definitely recommend the teether toys to friends and family.
*I wasn't paid for this post. I received the item for the review purposes. However all opinions are completely my own.*
