Funky Giraffe Review & Giveaway

One thing that I have always found essential for babies are bibs. When Emily was born, we had a whole selection of different bibs to try out, plastic backed bibs, cloth ones, and even the messy bibs that you put your childs arms through. However my favourite have always been bandanna bibs, I love the various different designs you can get, and they are also the perfect thing to accessories a outfit. We (well Emily) were recently offered the opportunity to review a selection of dribble bibs from Funky Giraffe and I jumped at the chance. They have so many really pretty designs to pick from, but I love the fact that they do plain block colours as well as patterns.
The Funky Giraffe bibs are fantastic quality, they are 100% cotton with a fleece backing. The fleece material captures the wetness drawing it away from the chest/neck, I have found that it works really well and has stopped Emily from getting rashes. The bibs have different length popper settings, so the width you require grows with your baby, this ensures that they sit well under their chin and catch all of the drool, milk, or messy food. When I first tried these bibs, I noticed that the front of the bib was soaking wet, but the back was completely dry and protected her clothing.

What is great about the bibs are that they use ethically sourced materials, they are free from all hazardous dyes, and only use water based dyes which are kind on your baby and also the environment. My favourite feature of the bibs are they are specially designed with folds to fit around your babies neck without restricting movement or being to tight. You can purchase the bibs online, either in packs or individually and they have options of boys, girls and unisex too. They are also avalible in France, Australia  and USA

As I mentioned before I am very indecisive, so I picked a pack of ten bibs, pack 2 to be precise. I absolutely love them and think they are great value for money. The pack of ten are £20, this makes 1 bib the bargain price of £2. I love the mixture of solid colours and patterns. In my opinion these bibs are perfect for the summer. My favourite being the strawberry print.

Funky Giraffe are also giving one of my readers the chance to win a pack of 10 bibs, all you need to do is enter below and leave me a comment stating if you would like a girls, boys or unisex pack. Good Luck!

  1. Boys pack or unisex please.
I know the feeling. We were given a lot of plastic back ones but I often melted them in the tumble dryer. I'd scoop up all the dirty bibs and chuck them in only to realise that I'd got one or two plastic backed ones as well. We had two of the full body apron things with the arms as well. They were good but were plastic backed so didn't last so well.... Oops!

  3. girls or unisex please. I agree with you re the plastic backed bibs - they seem very prone to melting. I also dislike bibs with velcro. even if I do up the velcro before washing, somehow they come undone and attach themselves to other bits of clothing
