Letters to Emily

Dear Emily,

As your mummy there are some things that I want for you, a few wishes that both me and daddy have for you. I want you to know how much you mean to us, and that we will always be there for you, no matter what direction life may take you in.

I want you to know that you are beautiful. I hope that you grow up to be confident in your own skin, and always have the confidence to voice your opinions even if other people don't always agree. I don't want you to ever doubt yourself. I will tell you that you are beautiful everyday because you are.

I hope that you are always close to your family. I want you to know that you will always have me and your daddy to rely on.

I hope that you find true love. To find someone who loves you and treats you kindly, that is always there for you and protects you. I hope you find a love like me and your daddy have. That heart raising feeling with butterflies in your tummy.

I hope that you are sensible with money like your daddy. I don't want you to ever struggle in life, I hope that you live comfortably and are never in debt.

I hope you become a mummy one day, not before you are ready though. I want you too know that overwhelming love and happiness that having a child brings.

I hope you find your purpose in life, to find that dream job. A career that you enjoy and are happy in. I don't want you to be miserable when you go to work.

I want you to know that as long as you do your best, both me and your daddy will always be proud of you. We will always be there for you and love you forever. No one could ever love you the way we do.

I want you to know you make us proud everyday! your mummy x
