Lavish Locket Review

I was lucky enough to get the chance to review a gorgeous locket from Lavish Lockets. It is really easy to create your own locket on the website. I used the locket builder on the website, which takes you through the 4 easy steps, this makes the whole process more enjoyable because you can simply concentrate on one step at a time rather than looking at a mass of things at once and forgetting what you picked.

First you pick your locket, then add your charms, pick the chain you would like and finally pick a back plate if you would like one. If like me you are a smartphone user you can download their app. It is really handy, and it makes it easier for you to create your locket. Both the website and app are really simple to navigate. One of my favourite things about the locket is you can create it to suit your own taste. If like me you want something simple you can choose a plain locket, but there is also a option for a locket with diamante.

I picked a plain simple heart locket, and I am really glad I did, it is simple but very stylish. I wanted the charms to represent Emily, so I picked pink footprints in a heart, the letter E, and Emily's birthstone in a heart shape. I then picked a simple chain and a backplate that has mummy on it. This was my favourite backplate because I love that it shows the different ways people refer to their mother. Emily currently calls me Mama which is included on the backplate. The charms sit inside the locket, I chose the magnetic one, so I can open it and add charms to it at a later date if I chose. I haven't even seen a product like this before, which is one of the main things that appealed to me.

I placed my order and waited with excitement, I was really surprised with how quickly it was delivered. It only took two days. All items of jewellry come in a carefully packaged little box, with the Lavish Lockets logo on it. When I opened the box I was hit with a wave of emotion, the locket means so much to me because it represents someone so dear to me. I have to admit I did have a little cry. I haven't stopped wearing it since I got it, and I have had some really lovely compliments on how unique it is. I would love to purchase one of these for Emily's godmother maybe for a Christmas gift, because I know like me she would absolutely adore it.

While having a look on the website I stumbled upon the forever range. The new product which was launched in April this year. It may not be to everyone's taste. They are personal resin charms which contain breast milk, hair or ashes. However I know that my Grandmother would love a locket from the forever range, she would be able to keep my Grandfathers ashes close to her, and I know she would gain a great deal of comfort from this. Once they have created the resin charms, they can be placed inside a locket to hold them close.

I really like the fact you can personalize a locket to any occasion be that a wedding, a new baby, or even just a Christmas gift. There is definitely something for everyone. Be sure to check out the website and tell me what product you love, charms start from just £2, and lockets from at £14.99.

*I wasn't paid for this post. I received the item for the review purposes. However all opinions are completely my own.*
