Fisher-Price jumperoo review

Emily got a whole selection of things for Christmas, but one of the things that she uses the most, and gets the most joy out of is her Jumperoo. Emily's nanny brought her the Fisher-Price sunny day's jumperoo. She absolutely loves it. In fact, I love it too because it clearly makes her happy and keeps her entetained while I get all my little jobs done. The thing I love the most is that Emily has something to look at no matter where she turns.

It's very easy to assemble, and it folds away neatly. It also easily adjusts to 3 different heights so as Emily grows it will grow with her. It is also very quick to adjust the height settings. It feels safe and secure, Emily is very comfortable sitting in it. It has lots of bounce too, although it took Emily a little while to figure out she could jump up and down. Now she has mastered that fact she can do it, she jumps to her hearts content, It's now become her favorite activity. There is a lot on the jumperoo to keep Emily entertained as well. The toys include a sun roller ball, a hide and seek lion, a crocodile roller that can spin around endlessly, a butterfly that has crinkly wings and Emily can pull towards herself - and more. Emily can rotate the seat by herself, a whole 360 degrees to reach whichever toy takes her interest. However she hasn't quite mastered the technique of moving the seat, I think she is a bit to young for that feature.

The jumperoo also features lights and music - because everyone knows that all babies love flashing lights on their toys. The music is can go on and on, but Emily doesn't mind it, she never seems to get bored of it, she always is jumping along to it. The lights keep her transfixed for quite a long period of time. The other advantage is the fact it doesn't blaze through batteries like most toys. With regards to the price, it is quite reasonable in my opinion, it was £69.99 from toys'r'us. There isn't any other products on the market that are similar to the jumperoo in my opinion.

The only downside in my opinion is that it takes up quite a lot of room. If your looking for something to squeeze into a tight space the jumperoo is not for you. However for me the jumperoo is a lifesaver. If I need five minutes to myself, I know I can put Emily in this. I know that she is safe, and happy. Content and she won't get bored. This allows me to cook, clean and catch up with the other bits and bobs I need to do. What's your opinion on the jumperoo?

  4. We've had a jumperoo for all three of our children and absolutely adored it. A proper investment toy but worth every penny.

  5. All my children have loved their Jumperoo. They do take up a lot of room, but I think they are worth it - just because you get your hands back for 5 minutes lol! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested

    1. I don't mind it taking up the space, so long as she is happy, and learns to play independently. Thank you for hosting. x
